The North Creek Fiddlers have been together since 2006. It all started when Craig Houle and Nathan Peters decided to start jamming together. Then, they asked Eric Robinson to join the group. Next, NCF started playing gigs and added members Chris Tarasow and Wesley Fritzemeier. With those additions, the band's sound became exactly what they had all hoped for. The band plays Irish, bluegrass, and traditional American music.

 

Craig Houle is a self taught fiddle player. He has been playing for about 10 years. He also sings and plays harmonica. Craig has a vast knowledge of fiddle tunes and is always bringing new-tunes to the band.

Nathan Peters has been playing fiddle for most of his life. He started playing at the age of 5. Nathan is an accomplished classical violinist. He teaches middle school music, kindergarten music and private lessons.

Eric Robinson plays guitar and sings for the band. He has been playing guitar for 12 years. He also enjoys playing his guitar for his 1st grade class at North Creek Elementary School.

Chris Tarasow plays a variety of instruments for the group. Chris plays mandolin, bass, guitar, 3/4 guitar and dulcimer. Chris joined the band shortly after its formation in 2006. His variety of musical skills has helped broaden the band's sound immensely.

Wesley Fritzemeier, a Chelsea High School senior is an exceptionally gifted young talent. His unique skills on the violin encompass a wide range of styles. Not only is Wes a very versatile and unique fiddler with a superior skill for improvisation, but he is an accomplished classical violinist as well. His effortless style and keen musical ear make him stand out.
